Dear Fellow/Future Referee:

Referees are an important part of the soccer match.  More than ever, we need motivated individuals willing to pick up a flag and a whistle.  The success of our support depends on young players learning the laws of the game in addition to technical skills.  As a referee in a youth game, you are providing the next generation of soccer players with a foundation on which their game is developed.  You are also a role model; our youngest players view the referee with a sense of awe and many hope to be wearing a yellow shirt one day.
